The Ashby family have been farming near Oundle for over 100 years.
Mike Ashby, a Director of Armston Lodge Farm is a fourth-generation farmer and is BASIS registered.
Armston Farm encompasses J. L. Ashby & Co. Ltd and R. J. Ashby & Partners - we are a family business managing land sustainably since 1910. With many years’ experience in farm management, we run an efficient Agri business with highly skilled operators. We are very proud to produce crops sustainably whilst also benefiting the environment.
We adhere to standards of the Red Tractor and the National LEAF Marque Scheme.
Farm Arable
Managing our soil health is key to producing healthy nutritious food, cutting edge agronomy and progressive cultivation techniques help to future proof our soils.
NIAB Trials
NIAB (National Institute of Agriculture and Botany) conduct wheat trails on our farm as a part of a national scheme.
Environment
Our crops are grown with care - we have taken multiple steps to ensure our farm operations don’t impact the local ecosystem.

We consider ourselves experts on asparagus on our farm near Oundle.
Deer
We have always had livestock on our farm and we started commercially farming deer in 2018
